Μετάφραση του βιβλίου Neurosciences Core Concepts, της Εταιρείας Νευροεπιστημών της Αμερικής (SfN) (http://www.sfn.org/index.cfm?pagename=core_concepts). Η μετάφραση έγινε από την κ Χριστίνα Δάλλα, Λέκτορα, Ιατρική Σχολή, Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Το βιβλίο αυτό αναφέρεται σε θεμελιώδεις έννοιες και αρχές που πρέπει να γνωρίζουμε σχετικά με τον εγκέφαλο και το νευρικό σύστημα, το οποίο είναι η πιο περίπλοκη δομή στο σύμπαν. Το βιβλίο απευθύνεται σε δασκάλους αλλά και στο κοινό, προσφέροντας σημαντικές γνώσεις που έχουν προκύψει από δεκαετίες ερευνών για τον εγκέφαλο.
