Call for Travel Awards ESN HSN Meeting, Naxos 2025

We are pleased to announce that registration and abstract submission for the ESN-HSN Joint Meeting in Naxos, taking place from May 18–21, 2025, is now open!

In line with its mission, the Hellenic Society for Neuroscience (HSfN) is committed to supporting early career researchers by providing a platform to present their innovative research findings through poster presentations at an international conference. PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who register and submit an abstract as first authors are encouraged to apply for a Travel Award to attend the joint ESN-HSN Meeting in Naxos, Greece.

Applicants who have submitted an abstract for oral presentations at the Young Members’ Symposia (YMS, HSfN call ended December 15, 2024) are eligible to apply for a Travel Award to present their work as a poster.

Successful Travel Award applicants will be granted financial assistance from HSfN, covering registration fees, accommodation for the duration of the meeting, and economy travel expenses to Naxos from their home institution, up to a maximum of 300 Euros upon submission of receipts. Awardees will be notified by March 30, 2025.

Key Deadlines:

Travel Award Applications (with registration): February 15, 2025

Registration & Abstract Submission (without Travel Award application): March 1, 2025

1)      A single pdf file containing

a.      a copy of your Registration form and Abstract, 

b.      your CV, and 

c.       a statement of diversity (if applicable)

2)      a letter of recommendation on your behalf
